Triathlon Ireland National Series 2023

Over the course of the season Limerick TC athletes raced up and down the country, including the 19 races that made up the 2023 National Series.

Top LTC athlete in the series was Kathryn Fahy, who came 3rd overall Female and 1st her Age group. Kathryn put in a super season including a 2nd place finish at the Sprint National Championships (TriAthy) and 5th at the Standard National Championships ( Kilkee, Hell of the West). Great racing Kathryn.

Although we only had 5 rather than 6  females with the requisite 4 races completed in the Club Champs, we still came 6th in The Club female Championships thanks to:

Shauna Dollken O’Shea 4th Age Group 20-24 

Helen Hartigan 5th Age Group 55-59

Edel Foster 6th Age Group 35-39

Angela Robertson 9th Age Group 55-59

 

On the men’s side, only Liam Liddy completed 4 races, giving him an impressive 6th place in teh 60-64 Age Group.

Thanks to Liam, Kathryn, Shauna & Angela’s points, we ranked 16th in the Club Mixed Championships of the 54 qualified clubs.
