One of Ireland’s oldest and most respected triathlon clubs, Limerick Tri has been shaping the sport since the very beginning. We’re a community of triathletes who train, race, volunteer, and support one another—at every level.
Our mission is simple: to promote and grow the sport of triathlon in the Midwest of Ireland, supporting athletes of all abilities through training, racing, and community.
Whether you’re preparing for your very first event, signing up for a Try-a-Tri or a Sprint, chasing an Olympic-distance PB, or going all in for Ironman, we’ve got the training, structure, and support to help you get there.
Why Join the Club?
Train with us, race with us, and learn with us at workshops.
Take part in our Winter League and other club events.
Volunteer at races and give back to the sport.
We don’t just train together – we travel together too. As a club, we pick key races each season, train towards them as a group, and head off to compete side by side.
Travelling with the club means you’ll have support on the start line, tips for race-day success, and recommendations for accommodation and restaurants. It’s about sharing the whole experience – from the build-up to the finish line celebrations.
