Well done to everyone who braved the wind and rain to support the many charity cycles over the weekend, including the Shannon Airport & Pieta House cycles.

At the Pulse Port Beach Sprint Triathlon, Shóna Keane made the podium in a National Series race again, coming home 3rd in 1:13:04, having made up an almost 5 min swim to the ladies winner who finished only 45 sec ahead. There are only 2 NS events remaining on the calendar,  we are excited to see where Shóna will place after a busy rookie year. Junior Alex Stewart raced in the Cat1 Super series event, coming home  8th female in 1:13:53 – great going Alex!

Coming up this weekend, Cork TC host the National Championship Middle distance at the Lost Sheep on Saturday, and we will have about 20 members taking on the challenge and hoping for better conditions than last year.

Limerick CC host their Sportive Challenge on Sunday from Caherconlish, with 60 & 120KM options
