A fourth year UL student studying Sport and Exercise Science requires cyclists to participate in a research project dealing with recovery from endurance exercise. Please read on, and contact Darren if you are able and willing to help with his project.
We are fourth year Sport and Exercise Science students. As part of our final year of undergraduate study we are undertaking a nutrition based study. Our study is looking at optimising post-exercise recovery in endurance athletes, particularly cyclists.
Trained male cyclists with over 2 years cycling experience. With an average training load of at least 2 hours per day on 3 days per week. Cyclists must be outside of competition phase.
Athletes will be required to commit to a standardised testing protocol over the course of 3 weeks.
If you feel that this is an opportunity for you, or you know someone who may be interested, please feel free to contact us for more information.
