Recap – LTC Summer League Final Results

The World’s End Triathlon saw a large turn out of LTC members resulting in an exciting finale to our inaugural Fly Shannon sponsored Limerick Triathlon Club Summer League.
In the Women’s event Lisa demonstrated her pedigree as a top class athlete, taking maximum points from all five events she competed in. Competition was tight for second and third between Sinead and Maeve with the single point difference Sinead secured in the head to head in Valentia Tri giving her the second place. Outside of the top three, Roisin, Kristi, Caroline, Clodagh and Angela all got into the spirit of the league participating in 5 or more events. The top 15 results are as shown.

The men’s league had drama to the end. With Richard not competing in Castleconnell, Adrian took on the challenge and following an excellent swim was ideally positioned to take the number one spot . Unfortunately a puncture early in the cycle put an end to his title ambitions for this year. Similar to the women league there was a large number of members who participated in 5 or more events to make for a competitive league. The top 15 results in the men’s league are as shown.
