Aquathlon National Championships well done to our sole representative Greg Baxter who came home in 32nd. The event was won by UL HPC/ Westport TC’s Con Doherty who retained his National Championship title.
Well done to Brendan Naughton on his Malin to Mizen cycle challenge last weekend.
Open water-swimming returns: Monday’s 18:30 at O’Briens Bridge.
Meet by the Tennis courts OBB side of the bridge, ready to swim at 1830. This session is suitable for members of all abilities, with options for coaching or simply a group swim. Wetsuits & brightly coloured swim hats compulsory. As the water is still a little cool, make sure you acclimatise and don’t stay in long your first few dips.
Time trial Week 3 of our 4 week continues Wednesday at Daly’s cross – even if you can only make one night, do come out and give it a go – it’s a great tester of that winter training
