A terrific day for LTC in Castleconnel on Saturday, at the Worlds End Triathlon run by our friends at Castleconnell BC. After a summer of mixed results, it was great to see Luke Lyons take to the top step and win the race by 1 minute over Colm Turner. His 10:08  for the swim was followed by a 37:12 bike and 21;44 run. Congratulations Luke! Stephen Cuneen took 7^th and John Deegan 8^th.

Racing very much on home turf Murna Griffin O’Malley was being chased on the run by Shona Keane, who had made up the 3 minutes lost to Murna in the swim on her bike split. Murna held on to win by 30 seconds, give the LTC ladies 1 & 2. Alex Stewart was 4th and first placed junior.

Great to see so many out racing – including some we haven’t seen for a while – welcome back!
