Below is the breakdown of the points allocated to members in the Fly Shannon League 2016 based on three events completed to date:

In the female section, Elaine Yelverton is being pushed all the way by Angela Roberston and Philip Cantillon has taken an early lead in the male section which may be extended further as he competes in this weekends Lough Cutra.

 

You will also note that members who marshaled in both the Duathlon and Joey figure promptly. We have a long way to go and this will no doubt all change as the season progresses.

 

So get your runners on, dust off the wet suit, service that bike … and get your act together to win the Fly Shannon Perpetual Trophy.

 

Race 3:

Our next race is this Sunday the 29th May in Galway as the Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon takes place. Best of luck to all our members who are competing.

 

Scoring:

Members are awarded 8 points for Marshaling (Duathlon, Joey & HOTW) and then for each race in the series there are 6 points on offer for participation, 5, 4,3 for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd LTC members home respectively, and then 2 points for an AG win relative to your fellow members.
