The club would like to congratulate Paul Finnerty on his new post of Vice Rector of the Irish College in Rome. This is a prestigious appointment and we wish him the very best of luck in his move.

Paul has been a long standing member of the Limerick Triathlon Club. He cycles with many elite members and attends the Monday night swimming sessions. Paul overcame the fear of the open water in the recent years and has completed Kilkee a number of times.

We are grateful to Paul for his commitment and involvement in the annual Joey Hannan memorial cycle and triathlon, he has always given a blessing in memory of our friend Joey.

He will be very much missed within the club he brings warmth, humour and integrity to our sport. Good luck Paul.
