Mixed Team Relay

We had 2 teams representing us in the Mixed Team Relay  Championships on Saturday – its a fast and furious format with each member doing short triathlon before handing over to the next team member, in Female/Male/Female/Male order. Kirsten Huysamen, Ross Higgins, Alex Stewart & Diarmaid Lane made up the one team, with Deirdre Kearney, Richard Chapman, Ger Le Gear & John Deegan making up the second. In the first leg Kirsten & Dee came out of the water neck and neck, and Kirsten held that lead for the first leg, but as the race progressed Belpark TC and the young team from PredatorTC took the lead, leaving Limerick TC’s teams to take 3rd and 9th.
