Limerick TC wishes Lynne Algar all the very best as she takes up a full time role with Triathlon Ireland. As one of TI’s High Performance Coaches, Lynne will continue to work alongside National Talent Coach, Stephen Delaney and Technical Director, Tommy Evans with some of Ireland’s future elite international Triathletes, but her role has expanded to cover a greater area and delves deeper into talent development. Limerick offers excellent resources to support elite triathlon in Ireland and will continue to develop as a High Performance hub.
Stepping down from her role as LTC Club coach, Lynne remains a member of Limerick Triathlon Club and hopes to take part in some endurance events this summer where possible. Speaking on her reasons for being a LTC member, Lynne said “I continue to train in Triathlon to stay fit and healthy in a rounded way. The club offers me a group that I can train with, learn from and challenge myself physically. As well as friends to make the whole experience enjoyable”.
