Our friends at Limerick Masters SC will host their annual Long course (50M format) swimming gala on March 4th & 5th next. Swimmers from all across the country and further afield come to swim in events covering a range of distances in each stroke.
Of particular interest to us triathletes, there are races in in the 800M and 1500M freestyle/frontcrawl. So if you fancy pitting yourself against your peers in a swim only competition, now is your chance. Swim Ireland recently introduced a ‘Special Membership’ (similar to TI’s one Day Licence) which opens these events up to non-swimming Club members.
