Ennis triathlon -There was a stacked field at this NS race – well done to Colm Turner 5th, Ronan Costelloe 8th, Ross Higgins 9th, AG 2nd for Liam Liddy in 42nd, Alan Glover, John Deegan, visiting Greg Baxter, Pat O’Brien, Richard Roche, Steve Gleeson, Tony Trehy, Alex McConkey, Rosie Clarke, Claire O’Flynn, Eimear O’Malley & Abi Ryan.

Triathlon Alpe d’Huez wel ldone to the gang out in this iconic location taking in the 21 switchbacks of the Alpe d’Huez climb, before a 2okm run at altitude. Ronan Costelloe was an impressive 49th across the line most of whom were Pros! (43rd male , 4th in his AG) Congratualtions to Padraig O’Sullivan, Shane Larkin, John’Sullivan, Ed Fahy, Paul Corcoran, David Murphy & Gerry McIntyre on their races. A DNF for Richard Chapman who succumbed to the heat, while Bernard Loughlin missed a cut off on the run. An epic experience by all accounts.
