Hell of the West Race Brief
Our race organisers are busy making the final preparations for race day! All athletes racing this weekend in Kilkee should have received the Race Briefing by email – if you have any questions, please email kilkee_race_secretary@limericktriathlon.com.
As a reminder, a few key points are outlined below (details found in the Race Briefing, link above):
- Registration takes place at the Kilkee Bay Hotel – from 6-10pm on Friday and 7-8am on Saturday. If at all possible we request that you register on Friday evening. The 8am closing time will be strictly enforced on Saturday morning.
- You MUST have a valid photo ID and racing licence to register.
- If you have a 2019 Triathlon Ireland membership card, please put your photo on it!
- If you require a One Day Membership you must also bring a photo ID (driving licence, passport or similar) to verify your identity.
- If you have a racing licence from a country other than Ireland, we will need to see the actual card at registration (i.e., not a photo or copy of the card).
- If you need a One Day Membership, it can be purchased from the Triathlon Ireland website until Thursday, 27 June: www.triathlonireland.com. We are not authorised to sell One Day Memberships at registration.
- Transition will be open at 7:30am and will close promptly at 8:30am on Saturday morning. Please make sure your bike is race fit and safe for the road.
- All athletes are required to attend the race day briefing at 8:50am in the Transition area. Any last minute changes and safety notices will be announced here.
