Results round-up – May 25/26th

A busy weekend of racing:

IM Lanzarote – we are very proud of Ger Benson (13:21:18), Ed Fahy (15:56:05) & Niall O’Donovan (16:24:47) for completing this tough Iron Man on a  brutal day. #painistemporary

Hardman Half – Bantry Well done to Jonathan Whelan (20th place) and Bernard Loughlin who completed this new event.

Lough Cultra Triathlon – A huge array of events was on offer – sorry if we didn’t spot you! Well done to –

  • Middle Distance – Ronan Costelloe 5th in 4:56, Philip Manuel, Ian Moore, Brendan Naughton
  • Olympic Distance NS – Neil Foley came home in 13th for AG Silver, Christian Jones, Alan Glover, Gerry McIntyre & Peter Hunt
  • Sprint –   Claire O’Flynn & Eimear O’Malley,
  • Duathlon Standard – Shane Costelloe
  • Half Marathon – Niamh Humphreys 1st , Andrea Cullen 3rd, Garron Mosley 3rd
  • Mixed Relay National Championships – keeping our run of podiums since this event began, well done to both teams representing LTC today . Shóna Keane, Luke Lyons, Hilkka Kontro & Aaron O’Brien took NC Bronze in this event. Our second team of  Audrey O’Dwyer, Richard Chapman, Teresa Ryan & Colm Turner crossed the line in 12th. A fantastic day for the Club – well done and thanks for representing us.
