Given that winter is fast approaching the Limerick Cycling Club are starting their winter spins from Arthurs Quay this Saturday the 6th October. As this spin tends to drag a lot of cyclists from our spin from Union Cross and we tend to end up racing down to join them anyway we have decided to move to the Arthurs Quay group from this weekend.
I have contacted LCC and they have welcomed us with open arms. Their spins from October through to December will be steady enough so are a great chance to put in some good winter miles.
In order to make these work Jeff has said that they will be splitting into safer size groups and will be using wider roads on their routes so I would ask that we follow their lead on this and respect their guidance.
I hope to see a lot of you on these spins, all in the LTC gear to make our presence felt.
