Entries Now Open for Our 2026 Races
We’re excited to announce that entries are now open for two of Limerick Triathlon Club’s key 2026 events. Whether you are targeting a fast spring duathlon or testing yourself on one of Ireland’s most iconic coastal triathlon courses, we’ve got something to race for.
Limerick Duathlon 2026 — Sunday 2 March
Our spring duathlon continues as part of the National Series, with a fast, run–bike–run format that suits athletes of all abilities — from first-timers to seasoned multisport competitors.

Hell of the West — Kilkee 2026
One of Ireland’s longest-running and most respected triathlons is now open for entries. The Kilkee course stays true to its character — a sheltered bay swim, a testing bike leg on West Clare coastal roads, and a rolling coastal run with Atlantic views — and continues to attract athletes from across the country.

Places are limited and entry traditionally sells out. Early registration is strongly recommended.
Important Notes for Both Races
- A valid Triathlon Ireland Race Licence (or One-Day Licence) and photo ID are required at registration.
- Duathlon and triathlon are non-drafting events; an approved helmet is mandatory.
- Weather conditions in spring and on the West Clare coast can change quickly — prepare accordingly.
We look forward to seeing you at the start line in 2026. Enter now and be part of the racing action.
