We have made the difficult decision to cancel the Hell of the West Triathlon for 2021. At the heart of this decision was safety – not just for our athletes, but for the safety and well-being of the hundreds of volunteers, Gardai, emergency services, council personnel and community members who make this race possible.
If you are registered for this year’s race (either through the normal registration process or through a deferral from 2020) you should have received an email from us this afternoon – as in 2020, deferral or cancellation options are available. If you didn’t receive an email, check your spam/junk/promotions folders, and if it’s still not there, please get in touch.
We hope you have been able to get back to training (and cycling further than 20k from home!). Stay safe, and we hope to see you all in Kilkee in 2022. As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us through any of the usual channels.
