Club Membership 2020
Limerick Triathlon Club membership is now open for 2020 – whether going for the first time, or renewing your membership, its is all done though the Triathlon Ireland website here
Club Membership runs with the calendar year from January to December. To train with the club, ALL members – regardless of your type of membership – will require Triathlon Ireland Membership for insurance purposes, this can be either a training or Racing Licence – see here
Membership gives you
- Access to the coached training sessions, training days, members evenings, social events
- You will be able race for the club, within our own Club league and Time Trials, but also in the Tri Munster League and TI Club Championships.
- Members receive discounted prices (average 30%) on high quality Club training & racing gear.
- Discounted Pool entry and Membership to UL Sports Arena and with local business.
- All that for for €1 a week!
Our Club is run by members, so as a member of the Limerick Triathlon Club you will be expected to volunteer your services (or those of a suitable substitute) at one of our Club races annually. This is an excellent way to get to know people in the club, to see get some race experience but also to give something back.
- ADULT FULL MEMBERSHIP €52
- STUDENT MEMBERSHIP €30 (with valid Student ID)
- HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP Those members who have shown an outstanding commitment or who have gone over and above in helping the club have been awarded Honorary Life Membership. If you are within this bracket – you will need only to purchase your TI Membership annually to train/race.
- ADULT ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP €25 Adult Associate Membership is available for friends of the club. This applies to those not racing, and training only occasionally with the club. Examples of Adult Associate Members are spouses, friends, those travelling and currently racing with other clubs. Please contact membership@limericktriathlon.com
- JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP €5 We are currently developing a Junior Programme for those under 19yrs. This is currently headed up by our youth officer but our events are parent led and club subsidised. This is a very much in the development stages and we are actively looking for volunteers, coaches & athletes to get this up and running.
