Results round-up – August 19th to 25th

70.3 IM Dún Laoghaire – 

Well done to our finishers at the 70.3. The swim was shortened for some competitors due to fog, but that didn’t take from the epic effort of that cycle and run.

Jail Break – Olympic NS

This unique event sees competitors swim from the former prison of Spike Island back across Cork harbour into Cobh, followed by the bike and run. Well done to Stephen Chamber 6th overall and AG winner, Feargal O’Shea in 18th,  Christian Jones, Alan Glover & Liam Liddy 2nd place in his AG. Sinead Walsh was 9th Over all winning her AG.

Special congratulatons to Irene O’Brien on her first Olympic distance event, and David Jeffreys, it was his first Triathlon!
