Blackwater Triathlon In Fermoy offered both an Olympic and Sprint event.
With water levels & flow high in the Blackwater, the swim was amended to a 1.2km rolling start downriver swim – PB’s all round. Luke Lyons out in another great race to finish in 3rd Place. Well done to Caitríona Farell (4th) & Sinéad Walsh (6th) both winning their respective Age Groups, Peter Hunt, Angela Robertson and Dan Shanahan.
Worlds End Tri – As a Club league and local race, we were well represented. Ronan Costelloe had a convincing win with a 4 minute margin to 2nd place. A wrong turn led to a penalty for Richard Chapman who still finished in 6th, Alan Buckley was 13th.
Very much at home Murna Griffin O’Malley was 10th over the line, to win the women’s race by 4 minutes, with Angela Robertson in 3rd & Niamh Yelverton in 4th.

Dublin City Triathlon Well done to Colm Turner who won this NS Sprint race, Micheal Ryan also racing.
Tri Lakes Sprint – Clonbur -This was the first running of this event, and Tom O’Donnell represented us there, proudly the oldest man in the field – well done Tom.
