Results round-up – June 1st/2nd

Congratulations to Carolyn Hayes who finished 6th amongst a strong field in the Elite Women’s race at the standard distance European Championships.

TriAthy – Well done to Stephen Cuneen who put in brilliant 4:49 for 23rd place in the double Olympic event (3k/80k/20k)

Up the Creek Kilrush – to quote our Chair Richard Chapman “ In 15 years of racing I really think those were the toughest conditions I have ever raced in”

That said there was a massive club turn out and some great results: Luke Lyons & Murna Griffin O’Malley 2nd , Ronan Costelloe & Catríona Farrell 3rd,  Limerick TC taking home the John Lynch Memorial Trophy for best Club.

Richard himself came home in 5th, Noel Keane in 12th & John Deegan in17th.

Well done to Ed Fahy, Pat O’Brien, Micheal Collins, Nigel O’Brien,martin O’Connell, Graham Power, John Whelan, Eimear Laffan, Evan O’Sullivan Glynn, Angela Robertson, Barry Sheehan, Tony Chawke, Audrey O’Dwyer, Edel Foster, Dara Smyth, Jessie Ryan, Tess Ryan, Ruth Power, Caroline Roche and Clodagh Moore.
