Fly Shannon Members Challenge League 2018 Final Standings

Another season comes to a close and so too does this year’s LTC Fly Shannon Members Challenge League. It was a closely fought battle in both the men’s and ladies league and the winners were not decided until the last race. There were over 150 members that took part this year over the course of 13 races.

 

In the ladies league Aoibhe Reidy had led the way for most of the season but was pipped to the post in the final race by Caoimhe Maguire. Caoimhe had a strong finish picking up some bonus points in Castleconnell and Glin which ultimately gave her enough points to secure 1stplace. The final standings for the top 3 in the ladies’ league are as follows:

In the men’s league it was a similar story as Bryan Nolan had built a lead through the season and held on until the last race. Colm Turner was in top form again in Glin taking 1st place overall and pipping Bryan to the top spot. The top 3 standings in the men’s league are as follows:
