Hell of the West – The big one of the year for so many. Congratulations to our podium finishers Aaron O’Brien, Colm Turner and Aoibhe Reidy.
Ronan Costelloe, Pádraig O’Sullivan, Eamon Hanley & Bryan Nolan made the top 15 men, while Shóna Keane, Sinéad Walsh, Andrea Cullen & Eimear Laffan were in the top 15 ladies. We were well represented in the Age Group prizes with those listed, as well as Mary Ryan, Ed Fahy, Mick Griffin, Nick O’Dwyer & Noel Guinane ( who completed HoTW for the 33rd time) – if you didn’t get your prize please get in touch to arrange. Amongst the first timers were Tess, Niamh H, Caoimhe, Kenneth, Tony Trehy, Patrick Anderson, Séamus, Paddy & Finbar. Not forgetting participants in the relay Teams, it was a sea of Blue & White.
A huge THANK YOU to the members, family & friends of Limerick Triathlon Club for your help, big and small. If names are named, there is sure to be an omission, but every contribution was appreciated, and makes it possible to run the event.

IM Austria Congratulations to Liam Butler on his 2nd IM this year and his 14th consecutive IM Austria 13:49:25
Challenge Roth Congratulations to Noel Higgins who finished in 10:54:28 and Ian Moore finishing in 13:06:25
Tri Athone – Carolyn Hayes won the Sprint event, with the 3rd fastest overall time of the day!
Blessington Triathlon – In the Olympic Niamh Yelverton was 11th overall and AG2, while Ivan Yelverton was AG2 in the Sprint race
Sheephaven Half, Donegal. – On his final outing on this side of the pond well done to Greg Baxter in this middle distance event. Safe travels Greg.
The season doesn’t end with Kilkee, there is plenty more to come.

Over the summer months, as many Limerick residents traditionally holiday in Kilkee, you should find a group to bike with 0900 Saturdays at the Bandstand, and 1000 at the Church. A group swim happens from the Pier around high tide – to check the tide see here
