Up The Creek Kilrush: We had a huge turnout for the club, and this is one of our Club League races. Many of those racing were for their first time or first open water Tri, so well done to all our finishers  – it was Mediterranean out there this weekend. Congratulations to Aaron O’Brien who led from start to finish, Colm Turner tried to catch him but finished 2nd & Ronan Costelloe was 4th. For the girls Eimear Laffan will be delighted with second place (this was omitted at the Prize giving), Elisa O’Donovan was 6th, Ger Le Gear 7th and Marcella Neill 11th. Provisional results here https://www.sportsplits.com/m3/race?c=74&r=384&l=en-US

There were age group prizes for Geraldine LeGear, Marcella O’Neill, Tess Ryan, Caoimhe Maguire, Ed Fahy, Al Le Gear, Ronan Costelloe & Dermot Hanrahan.

Coming Up:

Tour de Munster Tough Tipp sportive in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland on Saturday 9th June. Great route. It’s a cycle sportive for a great charity, 120k or 80k. Great craic – steady pace with a few hammer drops on the hills. Assembling at Down Syndrome Limerick (DSL) @ the Castletroy Park Hotel at 9:45, Start: 10:00 Cost €15.00 food stop included. DSL would appreciate your support
