Post Primary Schools Triathlon Huge congratulations to Alex Stewart who took the Senior title this weekend – I think her smile says it all – well done Alex, your hard work has paid off
Duathlon NS – well done to Colm Turner who was announced as the second place finisher overall in the BMW Duathlon National Series, for more see here
Coming up this weekend we have a big crew making the trip to Gort for the Lough Cultra Triathlon – as well as the Sprint and Super series on Saturday, we have 2 teams in the Mixed Team relay event. We’ve done well in this event (Placing 3rdlast year) so any and all support for the Team would be appreciated. On Sunday there will be the NS Olympic and a Middle distance race.
In addition to our usual sessions:
Monday – OW swim at OBB. Ready to swim at 1830 ( Please allow time to sign in) there will be 2 options – a longer group swim or a supervised coached session. The riverbank pathways are ideal for running afterwards – there are loops both north (5km) and south (7km) of the bridge, or simply opt for an out and back.
Wednesday– as well as the regular mid week soon from the Hub, our TT series continues from Daly’s Cross, we would love to see more participants – especially the girls who have been quite shy this year. It is suitable for everyone, riders go off first at 1 minute intervals, Slower riders first, with the faster riders setting off last, we all finish around the same times. Great fun and a great test.
One for the diaries: run Kilkee 10km or Half Marathon on July 14th, as we all know THE most scenic run in Ireland, for more see http://www.runkilkee.ie
