Congratulations to all the finishers of Hell of the West 2017, and  a huge thanks to our members, supporters, sponsors and friends for making it happen.

Well done to our winners Rory Sexton and Carolyn Hayes. Rory has previously featured on the podium of this race, but this was his first win, coming home in 2:09:24, from Stephen Donnelly (2:10:21) and Brendan Murphy (2:10:47). This was  Carolyn Hayes third win, having come second to Laura Tighe last year,  todays wining time was 2:21:41. Olympian Sinéad Lynch was second in 2:25:25 with Maeve Maher-McWilliams  rounding out the podium

The winning relay team of Aaron O’Brien, Ronan Costelloe and Colm Turner (Both Aaron and Colm have previously been individual champions) were hoping to match Gavin Nobles course record of 1:59, and came close on the day to finish time in a time of 2:01
