A great turn out of over 30 riders took to the start line under the shadow of the club clock, each and every rider set off in pursuit of not only a new personal best but in hope of making it back in time for the coke and chocolate awaiting them at the finish line :)

A big thank you to all the marshalls this week and a special mention to ciran gallagher who rescued a certain misses and brought her to the race in time and hit the round about with his flag to help marshal the riders on course.

It was great to see some old familar faces pitching in at the start to give a hand also

First home on the night was west clare rider mike storan21:43 but pushed all the way by young flyer stephen clancy 21:44 with a  very impressive eamon Morgan in third, 22:55

Club record in safe though in hte hands of colm turner no one has come close yet but no doubt it will fall at some stage this season

On the womens front things are looking interesting, Andree Walkin, Orla Mooney and Shiela Calvin all finished one after the other in the time standings and in that order, i believe they will push each other all through out the league but who will be on top?? intersting odds in bookmakers i wouldnt like to guess

Andrew o Hara on his new tt bike is off to a flyer in the junior cat, clocking sme impressive splits wil he be caught this year??
