On Sunday junior athletes Mike Yelverton and Aaron O Brien travel to Asketon to race the Deel swim.

This swim was a training season for Mike's world championships race in sept and Aaron european youth triathlon in portugal in august.

This swim was 2500m up the River Deel, this race had a small catch for Limericks up and coming triathlete it was an NON WETSUIT swim, and for people who have only 5% body fat this is a challange in itself. But the two lads showed that when you swim at that speed they were not in the water that long with Aaron winning the swim in a time of 37min and Mike only 2.30 down... well done, and best of luck over the next couple of weeks in your racing and training
